Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sound for this price point Had them for a little over a year now. Continue to sound awesome, whether I'm blasting music, watching a movie, or gaming. Has pretty deep bass even without my sub on. They take up hardly any room, look great, and sound excellent at all frequencies. The fact that I got them for $99each last year on Black Fri was a no brainer lol. I had a couple of KLH towers before that had 12" woofers and the bass obviously was deeper but these sound way better overall. These do great by themselves in a 2.0 setup, just make sure your amp has at least 100w/channel. I'm using a Sony that has 145w per channel, and it pairs with them perfectly.

Questions

I am a quite satisfied owner of a pair of your T50 speakers, but something is causing interference with a newly installed fiber modem. Are these speakers emf shielded? I realize several possible causes, but need to eliminate T50’s as a possibility. Thanks

Hello, the best way to test this would be to disconnect the speakers and move them farther away from your modem. With the magnets inside speakers, it is possible there may be some interference but usually this is not the case. The T50 is shielded so it is unlikely that this is the cause for interference.

Looking for a robust speaker other than book shelf for Denon - CEOL-RCD-N12. Will the T50 work/compatible? Is an AMP needed?

Hello, The T50 can be powered with an amp between 20-150 watts and the CEOL-RCD-N12 is rated at 65 watts x 2 into 4 ohms which is enough to power these speakers. You should be fine to run these speakers with this amp.

How do I identify which model my Polk Tower Speakers is?

Will the T50 speaakers work with a Pioneer VSX-834 7.2-Channel AV Receiver ?

Hello, The T50 speakers will do just fine with this receiver. The speaker can handle up to 150 watts so you can even go up in power with another receiver if you wished to do so.

Hello, The maximum power handling of the Polk Audio T50 Floor Standing speaker is 150 watts and your amp is rated to have 250 watts. While you can use this amp at lower volumes, it is advised to be careful with not driving the speakers to hard with this amp as this can cause some damage to the speakers.

Hello, the Polk Audio T50 Floorstanding speakers are rated at 90 dB sensitivity, making them relatively easy to drive. The Denon AVR-S540BT should have the power to drive the T50 speakers to their maximum potential.

Can I use T50 speakers with Sony BDV- e3100. I'm thinking of swapping all speakers to Polk except sub. Then getting new pioneer av receiver. Thanks

The Sony BDV-E3100 looks to be an HTIB. (Home Theater in a Box). HTIBs are typically designed to work with what is included in the box. The T50 speakers will be better paired with the AV receiver mentioned.
