Rated 5 out of 5 by from R350 Rocks Perfect center channel to compliment the Reserve Series speakers. I paired the R350 with R600 towers and a PSW10(for now) and I have to say that I was blown away with the sound. Crisp and clear vocals when watching TV or movies as well as listening to my old vinyls.

Questions

Is R350 a good center with Monitor series main L/R? Need low profile max H 4.25in and looking to upgrade in the future. Also considering ES35.

Hello, The R350 would be a great choice for your system. It will provide great center channel clarity and distinction, the ES35 is also a great choice and will definitely enhance your system if you choose to go that route. Either center channel will mesh will with your current speakers and also be ready for whenever you choose to upgrade your LR mains.

Can I use the R350 as a left and right and pair them with an ES35 center speaker?

Hello, both the Polk Audio ES35 and the R350 may be used as an L/C/R (Center, Front LT/RT, or Surround LT/RT). The R350 and ES35 share similar Polk Audio Voicing and can be used together. However, given a choice, I recommend using either three ES35 or three R350 speakers together as L/C/R.

I'm passing a Polk CS350-LS to my son, and I want a comparable (if not better) center channel speaker. Will this RS350 be a good choice? Also, I need to replace my pair of Polk SDA-2A's as well, recommendation?

Hello, the CS350-LS was/is a great center channel leaving big shoes to fill. Yes, the R350 is up to the task. However, if space allows, may I recommend the R400 center speaker? The R400 will provide a step up in total frequency response. Regarding the SDA-2A's, you can't go wrong with the new SDA-equipped L800 speakers.

Can the R350 be wall mounter upside down?  Reason would be for esthetic purposes to keep rubber feet from view.

Hello, the Polk Audio R350 speaker can be used as an L/C/R, Left, Center, or Right speaker. The design allows for the speaker to be placed in any orientation. Vertically or horizontally. The rubber feet are also removable, preventing you from having to place the speaker upside-down.
