3D Sound

Dolby Atmos Certified & DTS:X Compatible

Movies and music in Dolby Atmos have the extra dimension of height added to the mix, in addition to front, center and rear sound channels—for true 360-degree sound. This makes for a more life-like, three-dimensional listening experience. Hear planes flying overhead, special FX, ambience and more, for a truly immersive experience. This system has all the speakers you need to experience true Dolby Atmos, including height modules.

Hear Every Detail with Monitor XT

High-Resolution Sound

Terylene dome tweeters enable playback of high frequencies beyond the range of human hearing—up to 40kHz—ensuring an airy, clear, high-end energy and spaciousness that you’ll not only hear but feel. Ideal for enjoying high resolution movies in the comfort of your own home, this kind of sound clarity makes watching a horror flick or listening to a tragic opera all the more gut-wrenching. Beyond movies, these tweeters also help enhance gaming or the latest hi-res streaming services like Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon Music HD, and Qobuz.

Built for Pure Listening

All Monitor XT models are made for the enjoyment of pure sound: Their nickel-plated binding posts guarantee a direct, lossless connection; low-resonance, critically braced, MDF cabinets isolate the sound of the woofer and tweeter without adding unwanted resonances; and their removable, precision-fit grilles minimize sonic interference.

Thumping bass

Feel every heartbeat as movies, music, and gaming come to life. The Monitor XT12 subwoofer provides the loud, low, effortless bass you’ve come to expect from Polk. Easily integrated into any home theater or music listening environment, and featuring new woofer, amplifier, and cabinet designs—the affordably priced XT12 fulfills the Polk promise of great sound for all.
