Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent for the money This is a capable sound bar. I certainly got what I paid for and I am saying this in a positive way. It was easy to set up via the optical input; very little thought required in this regard. Generally, if you have a satellite such as Dish, you can jack in directly to the output on the box. If, however, you use a streamer such as a Roku device along with your satellite, you will need to use the output on the TV itself. Either way, it is quick. As for the sound, it is pretty darn good- far better than what the TV itself will ever be able to provide. The dialog will be bright and clear. The bass will be richer and apparent VS just using the TV speakers. Pairing the sub was instant and effortless. So, this is a great sound bar system for casual listening- you should be pleased at this price.

Is this compatible with all streaming services (Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, Fubo, etc.)?

Hello, Our soundbars will work with whatever audio data is sent to it via the TV. If you are using streaming services, that will work just fine.

Chromecast group speaker is not working for Polk? I have two of these soundbars, I have chromecast group them together but I cannot get them to play together. It is one or the other (and it is random which one it chooses). Others play.

Should both HDMI and Optical be connected or just one connection

If connecting to a smart TV with an HDMI ARC input, the HDMI input is all that is needed. ARC stands for Audio Return Channel. Using ARC, audio from the Television is sent back to the soundbar. Ensure that the Televisions Audio out is set accordingly and that the CEC HDMI control function is activated.

I recently bought the Polk Signa S3 soundbar with subwoofer. It sounds great. However, I get absolutely no response from the remote. It doesn't control volume or input and Voice Adjust has no effect. I've tried two different batteries. Please advise.

I've tried to connect my new audio polk Signa S3 soundbar to my  SONY BRAVIA tv KDL-46HX850  (with HDMI ARC and Optical connections);  the only way the Signa S3 would connect and stay connected is by using the Optical cable.What am I doing wrong?

Just received our sound bar as a Christmas gift. Can the default volume settings be changed to increase/decrease by one level instead of three or four? Also can more bass be added other than the four up settings on the small remote?

Hi Chirp, The volume increments cannot be adjusted on the Signa S3. Other than the settings you have already discovered on the remote, the way to get the best bass performance from your sub-woofer is to experiment with the sub-woofer placement. Every room has one or two bass response sweet spots.

I have a Polk Magnify Soundbar with wireless subwoofer. I lost my tiny remote and ordered a new one from Amazon. The new remote has volume buttons for surround speakers. Will Polk wireless speakers work and is it actually surround sound?

The Polk Audio SR2 wireless surround speakers are compatible with the Polk React, Magnifi 2, MagniFi Mini AX, and Polk MagniFi Max AX sound bars. Surround speakers cannot be added to the S3 soundbar.
