Questions

I am using the es20 as main stereo speakers, I want to increase one center and two side surrounds to create a 5.1, what would be a better mach for the center, es30 or es 35? And for the lateral soundround es 15 or es 10?

Hello, for the ES20s, we would likely recommend going for the smaller speakers to match with the bookshelves. The ES30 would be better matched with the bookshelf speakers. Then for surround sound, either the 15 or 10 would be just fine with your ES20, that is more so your personal preference if you want larger speakers for the surround sound.

HI. I noticed that in the photos you always place the ES30 on top of the cabinet. Would I have any problems if I inserted it inside the TV cabinet shelves? Does it need particular space/open air around ?

Hello, passive speakers in general can generate some heat so it is best to allow for them to sit in open space so they can dissipate the heat more effectively. That said, as long as there is some open air around the speaker and some good airflow, it can be placed inside a cabinet. The other factor to consider is how the soundwaves can be affected by the closed space, which is another reason why we recommend having open space around it for better playback.

This is not recommended, as the S30 speaker was primarily designed and voiced as a center channel and is best used as such. Hi   I want to upgrade my current system just 3.1.  Center channel CSi A4.  Left & Right fronts. RT14.  New sub. AVR. Yamaha TSR - 700.  What would you recommend

Hi, I have a onkyo tx-nr686 av with polk monitor 60 tower speakers and a older infinity Beta c250 center speaker that just doesnt sound very clear would this be a good replacement or would a different polk center speaker work with the m60 tower speakers?

I am looking for a center speaker to go with a Yamaha RX-A840 receiver and a pair of Polk Audio Monitor 10 speakers. Would the ES-30 work with this setup?

Most definitely. The Polk Audio ES30 center speaker should blend nicely into your system. To help with any tone differences, I recommend running the room calibration (YPAO) as a starting point and making any necessary changes manually. Depending on your needs, the ES30 center channel brings a bit of a brighter sound resulting in crisp detailed Dialogue. For more of a refined sound (warmer), you may also consider the Polk R300 center channel speaker.
