Rated 4 out of 5 by Jmore64 from Compact Performer I purchased the R300 to replace a SVS prime center. I recently bought a pair of R700 to run as mains and wanted the timber match to them. I am pleased with the performance of this compact center. Had I more room in my av set up, I would have liked to have purchased the larger R400. Dialog is clear and blends perfectly with the R700, but requires a slight increase in volume due to it's smaller size and my middle- aged hearing. I will conclude by saying that I have been extremely pleased with what Polk has done with this series in their line-up. The R700 is absolutely fantastic and I have been through many, many auditions. This speaker series and it's brethren are likely one of the best values out there...period, that I have heard. Not only in their price range, but much higher.
