Hello, Would the ES30 be considered an upgrade over the Polk CS2, or is it too close to call? Thank you

The CS2 was an excellent center channel at an exceptional value. The new ES30 center channel will offer a more refined sound overall and be considered an upgrade. However, for a more significant upgrade, also consider the R400 center channel.

Want to hookup a stereo amp to this T30 speaker. Do i hook both reds to the red terminal and both blacks to the black terminal?

If you want to connect a stereo amp, a pair of T30 speakers is required. A single T30 speaker may only be connected to one channel. Damage to the Speaker and/or the Amplifier will occur if connected to both the Right and Left terminals.

Would the T30 match the timbre and sound of the Polk Audio 4A Monitor Series speakers I've had for 35 years and still sound incredible to this day?

Hello, the T30 center channel should blend nicely with your Polk Audio 4A speakers. Polk Audio has come a long way in 35 years, but today's speakers still share the excellent Polk Audio Sound. Also, consider the Polk ES30 center channel.

If you don't have enough room under the TV for a T30 could you use 2 and sit them each side of the TV?

Hi Bottomfeeder, The T30 is a center channel. There is only one center channel output from a receiver, so there is only the provision for one center channel in a surround sound system. If you are looking for symmetry, you could set them up as you suggest, but only one would be connected. It is not a good idea to wire two speakers into one speaker port.
